It has to be one of the very few films in which there is to be found an explicit critique of nationalism and the myth of a common national interest. Very significant in the context of the struggles in Ireland

Someone suggested showing this film at HO at the seasonal social last December. Nothing came of it. I agree it's well worth watching having seen it some years ago.
