Keith Scholey has posted on flickr the photos of Harry Young from the early 1920s when he was a member of the Communist Party (he left them in the 1930s to join our party) that he handed round at his talk on "British Communism" in Clapham on Sunday:
Most definitely the Party. They were still applying for affiliation at this time. They didn't get anywhere. Possibly because of Lenin's comment (in Left Wing Communism) that they would support Labour like a rope supports a hanged man.
