Haiti continues paying to France. The government of Haiti during the presidency of Aristides submitted a claim for more than 50 billion dollars in reparation and the answer from France was to become allied of the USA in the last invasion. The historian Gerald Horne has a very accurate description of the history of Haiti and the formation of the Dominican Republic. The president of Haiti was forced to resign and he was deported from his own country by the USA and France, as well, in 1963 Juan Bosh was also forced to resign, and he has written one of the best books of history from 1492 up to 1960 titled: From Christopher Columbus to Fidel Castro, The Caribbean imperial frontier. He is a self-educated Historian and he never attended any university and he received a Doctorate degree and he was a teacher at the University of Puerto Rico

Everything that the peoples from the USA have learned from Haiti is about Voodoo,( and it is also a wrong description )  but they do not know that George Washington was scared of the Haitian Revolution because of  its influence in Latin America and part of the world could have created a slave revolt inside the USA, and he was also willing to take over Haiti to deport the USA slaves, but many slaves escaped to Haiti because they had better legal protection under the Haitian constitution
