Witty and creative. As good as their one in 2015 or was it 2010. It's outsider reputation is one the SPGB could play on.

Too much laughing and giggling for me to enjoy it….but i did like the fact that they showed you the props scenery in the last reel…that it was like all capitalist politics …fakery

I felt like switching it off, but then I hate board games. They send me to sleep.

Quite clever. Don't know if it will work, though, i.e. bring in votes for the Green Party. It could be interpreted as an appeal to vote anything but Labour or Tory or, in fact, to not bother to vote at all.

Didn't quite work for me – the idea was good but just felt a little cheesy. The Greens are normally pretty good at putting forward a positive message against the negative electioneering of the other main parties so I think they dropped the ball a bit on this one.Wondering whether Derek Wall is still a Green Party member? I remember he used to be pretty sympathetic to socialism and was always happy to debate with the SPGB.

Derek Wall is the Green Party candidate in Theresa May's constituency.Heresies of heresies, if i lived there, i might be tempted to give him my vote.

There's a short video doing the rounds on twitter clearly produced by the Green Party using snippets of May and Caroline Lucas in a mock debate. Wonder why the Greens are not worried about 'copyright' ?  Why doesn't May sue?Are we missing great opportunities I also see that the Greens have produced Whiteboard Animations

He took umbrage at the SPGB twitter account a few months back – I can't remember the particulars – so the SPGB are now on his shit list. (Pardon my french.)

Got to say I thought it was god awful. It was like a sketch from a really poorly produced ITV sketch show. I was half expecting Bobby bloody Davro to turn up with the punch line. As to political content , there was none. It appeared to be accusing the Tories and Labour of Yahboo politics and then doing the same themselves, horrible!

Nope. I don't think PM May would have agreed to it. It painted a very negative picture.

I see the Green Party is promising to introduce a Universal Basic Income. Here's the Daily Wail's typical (and unintentionally amusing) report on this:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4530322/Green-Party-manifesto-plans-universal-basic-income.html

    Quote:
Green Party unveils manifesto plans to bring in a four day working week and give cash handouts to millionaires by introducing a universal basic incomeGreens want to introduce universal basic income – cash payments for all citizensLeader Caroline Lucas did not say how much the plan would costExperts warned the plan would be expensive and could be a disincentive to work Party also wants to introduce a four day working week and scrap Trident The Green Party wants to give cash hand-outs to millionaires and introduce a four day week, according to their manifesto. The party today laid out plans to to take steps towards introducing a universal basic income – although did not say how much this would cost.If rolled out the radical plan would see every British citizen get money from the state – no matter how rich they are. Some countries have eyed up the plans to introduce a universal basic income in order to deal with fears the rise of robots will lead to mass unemployment and poverty. But the policy would be massively expensive and some experts have warned that it is simply unworkable.

It's not just "some experts" who say it's unworkable. So do Socialists or rather that it wouldn't work as intended but would be a subsidy to employers that would lead to wages being reduced all round.
