    Marx’s apparent advocacy was something of a hasty and casual — in fact sloppy — rhetorical device aimed at showing the absurdity of the Lassallean demand for the ‘undiminished proceeds of labour’.

    So said the CPGB/WW’s Mike Macnair in 2008.
