Just as a result of the line breaks discussion topic, gnome mentioned a problem in "a post that has now been edited accordingly". I think I've seen a similar comment from gnome before when I've pasted an event without line breaks and gnome has added them. Just to confirm, I thought since the last spate of forum trouble, it was agreed that only internet committee members were forum moderators. Is/was gnome a forum moderator with editing capability?
There is nothing to rule out none internet committee members from becoming moderators or assisting the moderator should such assistance be required.Gnome has extended permissions on his account as he maintains the events section of the site.Other users of the website that perform tasks such as uploading articles etc will also have more knobs and buttons at their disposal. The only moderator at present is myself, not that there has been much moderation to be done…
Users that can edit pages on the website, including forum posts are: DJP, Admin, Pfbcarlisle and Gnome. All users can also edit there own posts should they need to.
I have this rather irritating obsession of needing to correct grammatical errors, misspelt words and other typographical mistakes. Posts are not otherwise tampered with as a rule. Anyone who has a problem with this outrageous behaviour vis-à-vis their own posts can ask me to stop………..and I might.
