Has OGW been moderated on this site? I see his posts at, such and such a time but, no post! even 9 hours ago! Moderated or, in a moderation queue, which is it?Steve.
His posts are being moderated and stuck in the queue awaiting a moderators attention. Such instances will be noted for attention once we get round to the aim of this thread.
Absolutely unacceptable. Proves that it doesn't matter how many forum rules we have. Admin and moderator will do as they wish. I don't mind member being petty but they should not be allowed to use censorship.

Brian, you say Vin is stuck in a moderation queue? Are you aware Vin has not been apprised that this type of moderation has been applied to him? Vin has served his suspension, so to me, this is nothing more nor less than the individual censorship of a party member. Where have these people recieved this "power". Nothing about this type of high handed moderation has been discussed, or passed by the EC! Now do you see what I have been on about?Steve.

I'm presuming the time which it is taking to clear Vins' posts is not deliberate on the moderators part but down to either: 1.The lack of availability of a moderator. Or. 2. Mismanagement.I'm awaiting a response from admin regarding this. I can assure you this is being noted for further discussion when we get together to finalise our findings.

Am I allowed to post yet? If not, why not? I will be sending all these rejected posts to the next EC meeting and reveal that this not moderation but is the sort of censorship the SWP would be ashamed of TOGW

I can assure you this is being noted for further discussion when we get together to finalise our findings.I have to say that I am not aware of what is going or what is happening to my posts but my own opinion obout a 'moderation queue' is that it is not a good idea on a socialist forum for the simple reason that it could be interpreted as censorship or even filtering out opposition to our case. I believe that warnings and direction from admin are normally enough. TOGW
