You are lucky that you fell one time, I have fallen several times and I survived, and those mistakes brought here

Bloody hell MS- I might kiss you for that remark. And it brought me here too- folly corrects us.

The numbers may seem smaller regarding other societies- but ‘the mask’ and its use is toyed with…
Out of all the scientific advice: still introducing a mask up policy becomes a stutter.
The r will spiral if not taken seriously.

Many hospitals can not take any more patients, and parking lot are being used to treats patients, there is a shortage of medical personnel, medical equipment and accessories, but the Congress just approved a 714 billions of dollars for the war machine A death every 30 seconds
December 20, 2020 at 7:31 pm #211231ALBKeymasterAt the moment the capitalist class, via its political representatives, control the centre of political control and so have responsibility for looking after society as a whole. Ok, they’ve been dealt a crap hand as they have to try to do this within the context of capitalism (but that’s what they want).
But in England they have been failed spectacularly, in part because the chairperson of their executive committee is an incompetent buffoon.
So our message to the capitalist class is: step aside and let the working class take over on the basis of the common ownership and democratic control of the means of life, with production and distribution directly to satisfy people’s needs. Then the crisis provoked by the out of control pandemic can be dealt with rationally.

December 21, 2020 at 12:30 am #211258AnonymousInactiveThe new coronavirus mutation has been detected in several European countries such as Italy and Belgium. It is too late already, it will continue spreading around the world
December 21, 2020 at 1:02 am #211259alanjjohnstoneKeymasterThese mutations are a windfall for the drug companies.
If the same as ordinary flu which frequently mutates and so requires annual flu shots to be administered, if coronavirus does similar, then the vaccines will be even more profitable, a never-ending market.
No matter their supposed altruistic pledges made today, these will be broken down the line as the vaccine will always require being tinkered with to adapt to new mutations.
December 21, 2020 at 3:19 am #211260AnonymousInactiveI think the virus will be at the front and the vaccine will follow
December 21, 2020 at 4:43 am #211262alanjjohnstoneKeymasterOn my daily trawl through the media sites a number has reported Israel’s Netanyahu getting his vaccine.
Few of those news outlets mentioned that the Israeli squatters in the Occupied Territories will soon be given their vaccines, but the Palestinians on the West Bank will not be receiving any for a long time via the COVAX scheme.
The 1949 Geneva Convention (Article 56):
“To the fullest extent of the means available to it, the Occupying Power has the duty of ensuring and maintaining, with the cooperation of national and local authorities, the medical and hospital establishments and services, public health and hygiene in the occupied territory, with particular reference to the adoption and application of the prophylactic and preventive measures necessary to combat the spread of contagious diseases and epidemics. Medical personnel of all categories shall be allowed to carry out their duties.”
Two million Palestinians in Gaza only have 60 ICU or intensive care beds, and not all of them are functional due to the Israeli blockade.

More than 1.8 million in five countries have been vaccinated.
The first Covid-19 shots have been given to more than 1.8 million people in five countries, according to data collected by Bloomberg. It’s the start of the biggest vaccination campaign in history and one of the largest logistical challenges ever undertaken.
Vaccinations in the U.S. began Dec. 14 with health-care workers, and so far 556,208 doses have been administered, according to a nationwide tally from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Those numbers are expected to surge in coming days with the distribution of a second vaccine by Moderna Inc. Bloomberg is also tracking doses at the state and territory level to give a picture of how the rollout is going nationwide.December 21, 2020 at 1:59 pm #211265alanjjohnstoneKeymasterDecember 21, 2020 at 2:06 pm #211266alanjjohnstoneKeymasterThe Vatican told Roman Catholics on Monday that it was morally acceptable to use COVID-19 vaccines even if their production employed cell lines drawn from tissues of aborted foetuses.

December 21, 2020 at 6:23 pm #211306AnonymousInactiveThis is the real reality of the USA. The so-called richest country in the whole world can not provide any minimum protection for its own citizens, but it can provide enough protection for the rich peoples.
That is the real definition of capitalism, and despite that, we, all human beings we are continually supporting this economic system which does not provide any benefits to us. This man is a social democrat but what he is saying is totally true.
Canada which is located at the North of the USA is providing $2,000.00 a dollars for covid 19 relief, and the USA wants to provide $600.00 in one single payment, that amount of money is not even enough to buy grocery for a family to survive due to the high cost of living.
Most of these senators are millionaires and they do not care about anything but to keep his bank account and peoples continue electing this bunch of vampires. It is time for the working class to take the political power and the economic power and send this stupid economic system to the trash bin along with all its politicians and leaders
December 21, 2020 at 11:45 pm #211317AnonymousInactivePublic CitizenDo not let them tell you we don’t have enough money for unemployment, robust survival checks, or guaranteed health care. We do. We spend it on the military, tax breaks for the rich and three-martini-lunch tax deductions -
