Before they went to sleep, they were supporting the cuts and having a laugh at 'benefit porn'. They only woke up when it started hurting some more of them and their own reality didn't correspond with what they were hearing. We have been here before and we need to be as uncompromising and as hard hitting of Labour 'saviours' as we are of the Tories.

I am talking about workers not the Labour Party. Its one thing to say that Labour are as bad as the Tories but another to attack individuals or workers seeking a change. Not sure what you mean by 'they'.

I don't know where you get the idea I am attacking anyone individually or collectively, other than their mistaken, deluded, ideas.  In the case of the stoodents mammas and pappas, they should know better anyway, by now, in any case, those don't want a change, but a release of the tension on their squeezed middles, so they can kick the kids out and realise the equity on their homes and the promises of Blair, Thatcher, individualised property owning democracy crap. The stoodents want relieved of debt to be as 'successful' as their folks don't think they are any more, when they were laughing at the benefit porn.Poorer workers want a restoration of mythical, 'cradle to grave' type welfare. (A comfortable good myth to have had, after two world wars.)I generalise, wildly perhaps, but inside all of that there may be  a tiny minority, wanting a real change sufficiently to investigate the possibility of it and their active agency in bringing it about, rather than a restoration of statist delusional myths, fed by Labourite parables, of 'how good it all used to be', on the way to power over them. We are not doing the 'soft soap' sales, we leave that to others, we are the 'fire and brimstone', 'shake 'em up and listen' people, as the rate of exploitation is increased, there is no turning back or alleviation of it, they need to become their own politicians and vote for themselves collectively and not the 'soft soaper' parasite class enablers like Corbyn and his ilk.So what! if our robust message initially causes them to walk away their wee heids hurting. They will not hear the case for socialism from anyone else.

The case is rational not ethical. There's no reason we need to use the 'fire and brimstone' approach.

Yes , yes. That in the main. Have you ever spoken from the platform to hostiles? I have been there when a rational calm speaker, getting matches inserted in his open toed sandals, had to make way for another more combative speaker, to take on pro IRA moron, chanters of , 'This is a no go area' with, "the only no go area is between your ears pal". (Vic Vanni)It is horses for courses.

Anyone who wears open-toed sandals deserves all he gets. Did he flee hot-foot? I saw Coleman have a pint of beer poured over his head. Most amusing.
