Members requiring alternative accommodation to the salubrious facilities offered at Head Office over the Easter weekend might like to consider these two venues which are situated close together on South Side, Clapham Common:-

    Euro Hotel:- http://www.eurohotelslondon.co.uk/hotel/euro-hotel-london-clapham/

    Euro Lodge:- http://www.eurohotelslondon.co.uk/hotel/euro-lodge-london-clapham/

There is also a new Travelodge in nearby Crystal Palace:- http://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/538/London-Crystal-Palace-hotel

Nice one – just booked. I will need a Zone 1 to 3 day travelcard now though! Is there a technical reason why there are two links for conference in the calendar?

You don't say where you've booked but if it's at Travelodge Crystal Palace (it's actually nearer to Penge) then that may not be the best location to get to and from Head Office using public transport.  True, Crystal Palace station is less than a 40 minute journey from Clapham High Street Station on the Overground system with a change either at Peckham Rye or Clapham Junction but there's something like a 25 minute walk from the hotel to the station.  Alternatively, the 417 bus operates between Crystal Palace and Clapham Common but there again there's the walk from the hotel.  However, the 358 bus runs between Crystal Palace and Orpington and passes the hotel.

No.  The links refer to two different days – Friday and Saturday.

Ah yes, booked Travelodge Crystal Palace and will be walking or using public transport. Thanks for the info.Surely one event can be listed on the calendar under one entry but as having a duration over multiple days?

No problem.  Train and bus timetables available online.  Just Google!

Had a little look at the northern line closures and it looks like anyone coming from the north of the country arriving at euston won't have a problem. While I was on, I looked a bit more.Don't know if anyone else is staying in Crystal Palace but note to self really, but if anyone finds it useful here goes London journey planner suggests quickest route by bus betweenhead office (sw4 7un)andtravelodge crystal palace (se20 7ts)by bus is 51 min. Train suggests a lot of changes but I'd say what looks like the simplest isn't suggested in an obvious waytrain from Penge EasttoBrixton.which is 45min.This involves some walking at each end taking the total journey time up a bit.Penge east to hotel is 0.7mi 14 mins walkBrixton to head office is 1.0mi 19 mins walk if you don't fancy walking from brixton, you canchange to go 1 station (victoria tube) to stockwellthen 1 station (northern line tube) to clapham north (this also is unaffected by weekend closures). In theory, this total journey time would be 54 min. Walking the whole route and not taking any public transport is 6.0mi and 2 hours.
