The main reason why the USA is pulling out its troops from Afghanistan is in order to concentrate its resources, military power and money in the struggles against the hegemonic challenge of China and Russia. Until now China is not more powerful and influential than the Soviet Union. The China Sea is a very important maritime route

The UK, US and Australia have announced a special security pact to share advanced defence technologies, in an effort to counter China.
The partnership will enable Australia to build nuclear-powered submarines for the first time.
