Seattle has become the first US city to ban discrimination based on caste after a vote by the city council. Advocates of the ban say that it is needed to prevent caste bias from becoming more prevalent in the US.
Kshama Sawant wrote the legislation and said the fight against caste bias “is deeply connected to the fight against all forms of oppression”.
“Caste discrimination doesn’t only take place in other countries,” said Sawant “It is faced by South Asian American and other immigrant working people in their workplaces, including in the tech sector, in Seattle and in cities around the country.”

The other high-profile Hindu in the USA, Tulsi Gabbard, a supporter of Modi, has not commented, AFAIK,
“Not just in India but wherever Indian Nietzscheism is going—to America, Europe, Canada, Australia and so on, the anti-caste battles will follow. To stop this Nietzscheism not few universities, one Seattle, all Governments of the world including the UN must make laws to annihilate caste and human untouchability.”
