Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming allow some of the most vicious murdering methods of gray wolves. It’s completely legal to choke gray wolves to death with painful snares, maim and mangle their helpless bodies with traps, chase them down with helicopters until they’re so weak and tired they cannot run, and hunters can even blow up wolves in their homes, including nursing mothers and their pups, while seeking refuge in their dens.

After failing to confiscate a single chinchilla from MCR—even as the USDA’s own inspectors issued citation after citation for Animal Welfare Act (AWA) violations over a period of five years from 2013 to 2018—the department finally filed a case in November 2018 against MCR’s owner, dealer Daniel Moulton. Following even more incomprehensible delays, the case finally went to court in 2021.
September 25, 2022 at 11:19 am #233618Thomas_MoreParticipantMinks are shy, solitary animals who are fearful of humans and like to forage, climb, and swim in vast habitats. But undercover investigations have revealed that fur farms confine them to cramped wire cages that are often caked with waste. The animals frequently show signs of extreme psychological distress, such as frantic circling and self-mutilation, and suffer from infections, gaping wounds, and other illnesses and injuries that commonly go untreated. Mink farmers commonly use the cheapest killing methods available – including gassing, electrocution, and neck-breaking – before peeling the skin off the minks’ bodies.
False-eyelash companies like Lilly Lashes know that no one wants to buy vile animal fur, so they are making misleading claims about their mink lashes: Lilly Lashes markets some mink-fur lashes as “vegan”.

October 5, 2022 at 6:49 am #234227Thomas_MoreParticipant“Wolves are being tortuously murdered by ruthless trophy hunting methods. Choked to death by snares. Legs mangled in traps. Chased down by helicopters. Even being blown up in their dens — including wolf mamas and their pups.
Federal courts ruled to reinstate the endangered species listing for gray wolves in the majority of the lower 48 states to try and mitigate the fragile population of these beloved animals — but the Biden administration has filed an appeal to REVERSE these critical protections. If we don’t act immediately, more gray wolves will be slaughtered, and we could lose this precious canine forever.”

The sows can’t move: They can’t lie down, turn around, or fully extend their limbs. They just kind of lean against the side to sleep. There’s no bedding so that their waste can drop through slats. And they suffer in these cages for the entire four months of their pregnancy. Actually, they spend just about their entire lives in those conditions because they are constantly artificially re-impregnated.
Fortunately, their misery doesn’t last long. Once the sows are “spent” — no longer able to give birth after about 18 months to 2 years — they are slaughtered. BTW, in the wild, pigs can live up to 20 years.
About 95 percent of the pork consumed in the US comes from factory farms that use these types of crates.
Think about that the next time you go to buy bacon or a pork roast.

Lynne Sneddon, a lecturer in the biological and environment sciences department at Gothenburg University who has researched pain in fish for more than two decades, said: “There is now a wealth of scientific data showing fish are capable of pain and many government bodies accept this.
“Fish are highly intelligent. They can navigate mazes, they have numerical skills and they have complicated relationships. They should be given the same protection as mammals.”

November 6, 2022 at 6:41 pm #235775AnonymousInactiveAnd will continue. Animals are part of the ecological balance of the earth and mankind. The border created by the USA with Mexico have created an ecological imbalance because there are animals that must live in both sides, but most peoples that support that stupid wall do not know anything about zoology, geology and ecology. Nationalism is more important than nature, and then, many peoples are saying that the Indians are salvages, they knew more than anybody else about nature and the earth
