Well, I wasn’t after this sort of response as it detracts from the comment. Rather like Lennon and Imagine, but having read it! Big John shoots up in my estimation. The way miners were abused in those days then fucking off to Russia and joining the Communist Party sounds like a better option. I certainly would have followed. After all Harry Young preferred the communist party to the SPGB in the old days. Had Big John had the benefit of living in the 21st Century he would probably have joined the SPGB. So thank you comrade, Big John goes on my list of respected people, but I am not about to organise a pilgrimage:o)
