Having already generously awarded the military, Biden is said to be preparing to give it in 2023, $770 billion – $770,000,000,000 – at least $17 billion higher than the defense budget requested by the Biden administration for 2022, higher than the $740 billion that Trump requested for 2021 and higher than the $639 billion that Trump requested for 2018 during his first year in office.

The Biden administration announced that instead of terminating the Trump administration’s Medicare pilot program—as physicians and progressive activists demanded—it is moving ahead with the program under a different name and a slightly different structure. That approach won applause from the healthcare industry

March 22, 2022 at 6:34 pm #228141ALBKeymasterHaving had to listen to Biden speak recently as over the Ukraine War I have my doubts that he really is the President ie where the buck stops. He seems so lethargic and just to be reading or saying what someone has prepared for him. He seems to be just a figurehead. So where does the buck stop? With Blinken the Secretary of State perhaps. He’s a boring speaker too who has to read everything he says but he seems more with it than poor old Biden.

The time of good USA presidential orators have vanished, the last one was Barrack Obama, and George Bush and Donald Trump has been the worst orators and public speakers
March 23, 2022 at 1:50 am #228162alanjjohnstoneKeymasterWithout the Ukraine crisis, Biden’s popularity figures would be far lower than even the dismal ones showing now.
He doesn’t require a speech, merely soundbites for the Biden-friendly media to keep repeating.
Who is determining the US foreign policy? I have no idea.

Most workers believe that an individual is going to resolve all their problems, he is viewed like a magician, and they are even willing to vote against their interests. The loser is not the party that loose the election, the real loser is the working class, and the real winner is the capitalist class
At the beginning of the campaign, Joe Biden was losing and Bernie Sanders was winning then, Biden became the winner, workers are so politically backwards that they are scared of a simple social democrat like Bernie sanders, religion has a lot of influence in the minds of the workers.
Everything is determined by the USA ruling and they control everything including the minds of the workers, and there are two groups that are always in dispute, but in essence both represent the same interests and probably a president is not required, just two individuals like Manchin and Senema destroyed the whole plans of the presidents, and that was the ticket that he needed to increase his popularity
In other countries, Donald Trump would not be elected to be the president of the Boys Scout, but he is very popular among the US workers even though he is a vagabond, and workers know that, but they want to elect him

In the Biden administration’s 2023 defence budget request, the UK was added to the list of countries where infrastructure investment is under way at “special weapons” storage sites, alongside Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey – all countries where the US stores an estimated 100 B61 nuclear bombs.
