Biden in the same denial as Trump was.

    “I don’t believe the polls”

Biden insisted that his administration had “outperformed” expectations

Biden Implies Sanders — Not Manchin or Sinema — Is Obstructing Democratic Agenda

Biden appeared to snub left-leaning lawmakers in his party, implying that it’s progressives — not conservative Democrats — who are obstructing the president’s agenda.

“You guys have been trying to convince me that I am Bernie Sanders,” he said. “I’m not Bernie Sanders. I’m not a socialist. I’m a mainstream Democrat and I have been. And mainstream Democrats have overwhelmingly — if you notice, 48 of the 50 Democrats supported me in the Senate on virtually everything I’ve asked.”

This is not the first time that he has done that, he just wants to show that he is a real right-winger. This is the president that the left was going to move toward the left, but he missed the bus and he is throwing them under the bus

Sinema has a Latinx opponent in Arizona which is very popular. At the Green Party she was a ‘radical” ( or what they call radical in the US ) and then she became a moderate to be elected as a Democrat, another expression to avoid being called a right-winger

California single-payer health care plan dead on arrival, as Democrats abandon bill they campaigned on

Bernie Sander was also blocked in the Senate by the Democrats senators. Both Republicans and Democrats are birds from the same net

Biden’s likely pick for the new Supreme Court judge, Childs, is corporate pro-business so does it matter that she is female and black?

Lyndon B Johnson was considered a reactionary but he passed many reforms that benefited the college and universities, and he passed the reforms that Kennedy was not going to pass and support, which shows that he was not imprescindible. The governor of California has passed a law that benefits college students, and several colleges provide bachelor’s degrees, and he is not the president of the USA. In New York, they passed a law that allows noncitizen to vote, and during the early years of the USA all Europeans and white peoples were allowed to vote without being citizens of the USA

Biden will soon formally announce a plan to make half of the $7 billion available to pay off legal claims by those who lost families members on 9/11 while the other half would be set aside for humanitarian assistance for the Afghan people.

Critics were quick to denounce the move as cruel, given that the Afghan people themselves had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks that took place over two decades ago — and that those living in one of the poorest nations in the world should not be punished for the criminal acts of a small group of individuals, most of them from Saudi Arabia and elsewhere.

The US government has always done similar cruel actions, it is not just Joe Biden, on certain occasions they have forced several countries to pay for the cost of their own invasions, and they have taken the ports, the customs and duties departments to keep the money, they are a bunch of crooks

Chris Hedges: Democrats, the More Effective Evil

When all else fails, when you are clueless about how to halt a 7.5 percent inflation rate, when your Build Back Better bill is gutted, when you renege on your promise to raise the minimum wage or forgive student debt, when you can’t halt the Republican suppression of voting rights, when you have no idea how to handle the pandemic which has claimed 900,000 lives – 16 percent of the world’s total deaths although the U.S. is less than 5 percent of the world’s population — when the stock market fluctuates on wild rollercoaster rides of highs and lows, when what little help the government offered to the labor force — half of whom, 80 million, experienced a period of unemployment last year — sees the termination of the extended unemployment benefits, rental assistance, forbearance for student loans, emergency checks, the moratorium on evictions and expansion of the child tax credits, when you watch passively as the ecocide gathers momentum, then you must make the public afraid of enemies, foreign and domestic.

You must manufacture an existential threat. Terrorists at home. Russians and Chinese abroad. Expand state power in the name of national security.
