The law is stronger for women than for rapists, serial killers, corporate crook criminals, crook politician and presidents They are protecting the life of the unborn but they are not protecting the life of children placed in cages and killed by wars
May 20, 2019 at 9:15 am #186491alanjjohnstoneKeymasterAn interesting analysis on why the attack on abortion is mainly in the Southern states.
“…US white supremacist panic about demographic dilution is what lies behind American political anti-abortion. The pseudo-moralistic religiosity camouflage layered over this “pro-life movement” is just to hide its racist foundation…”
May 20, 2019 at 1:49 pm #186498AnonymousInactiveThat is the main of the plan of Make America White Again, that is the real panic behind all these xenophobics. It is too late already, probably, they must take a lot of Viagra because the Mexican, the Latinos, and the Asian population is growing and within a few years they are going to be the majority instead of being a minority. They are the ones who are going to say: We are not going to be replaced

The south is where the slave owners had more electoral colleges which have been used by two presidents to win with a minority of voters but having a majority of brown voters the electoral college will not give them any victory and brown peoples are going to elect their own presidents and senators.
Some Mexicans historían has called it the retaking of aztlan

A woman from Alabama who was shot in the abdomen FIVE times while pregnant – with the bullets killing the fetus – has been charged with manslaughter while the woman who shot her walks free.

June 30, 2019 at 2:28 pm #188534AnonymousInactiveThe so called pro-life and their religious fanatics are always worrying about the fetus, but they do not care about the born children, they are the first ones who are favoring the incarceration of children in the USA and the killing of children by wars in others countries, they prefer the increase of the military budgets instead of helping the poor children, they want the state to remove all the social service for the poor children and their mothers. They are just a bunch of fanatic hyprocrite

Beside the United States, the 18 countries singled out include Bahrain, Belarus, Brazil, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Guatemala, Haiti, Hungary, Iraq, Libya, Mali, Nigeria, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen voted to deny a woman’s legitimate right to “bodily autonomy”—the right to self-governance over one’s own body.
The member states who deny women access to safe and legal abortion represent 1.3 billion people.
January 18, 2020 at 10:30 am #192844ALBKeymasterI see that one of the obscure non-entities standing for the leadership of the Labour Party called Rebecca Long Bailey or something like that has probably thrown away her chance of taking over from Corbyn, if she ever had one, by her position on this issue,
It’s a bit ironic that the Corbynite standard-bearer should be a member of the Pope’s Brass Band.
January 20, 2020 at 3:13 am #192868AnonymousInactiveIf they believe that a fetus is a human being they should adopt one, If is very funny that all these pro-life they worry a lot about the fetus, but when the baby is born they do not care about the baby, they even want them to die or to be killed. In Haiti, and Guatemala in particular thousands of women can not even support themselves. In the USA due to the lack of medical service, many pregnant women are waiting until the last moment to rush to a hospital to have their babies without knowing the medical conditions of the unborn baby and without knowing if they need a cesarean surgery.
January 24, 2020 at 7:30 pm #192939alanjjohnstoneKeymasterDonald Trump has become the first US president to attend the anti-abortion movement’s biggest rally. Trump said: “We’re here for a very simple reason: to defend the right of every child born and unborn to fulfill their God-given potential.”

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos at an event sponsored by Colorado Christian University likened the arguments of pro-choice advocates to those of pro-slavery supporters during the Civil War era.
January 27, 2020 at 6:30 pm #193017AnonymousInactiveMost pro life defender should go inside a laboratory of medical embryology and they should go to a hospital or abortion clinic and adopt a fetus which they call a human being
March 24, 2020 at 4:03 am #196742alanjjohnstoneKeymasterThe anti-abortionists are using the Covid-19 crisis as a cover to impose a clamp down. A coalition of anti-abortion groups urge governors to ban most abortions on the grounds they were not essential.

Ohio and Texas have ordered health care providers in the state to stop performing “nonessential” abortions.
“Abortion is time-sensitive, essential health care,” said Katherine Hancock Ragsdale, president of the National Abortion Federation. “Women deserve better than a craven exploitation of a health care crisis in furtherance of an anti-abortion agenda.”
