Are there any good chat spaces for ppl supporting socialism or similar? I always wish I had ppl to converse with about anti-capitalism.

The first thing is to define what socialism really is,  because in this epoch anything is called socialism, including the State Fire Department, and there is a new term known as Corporate Socialism which is absurd, and the new  concept of socialism is taxing the rich peoples, socialists who are members of capitalist political parties, and they are called leftists, socialism now is medical and education system  financed by the state. The blind guiding the blinds, and there are millions of political blinds in this world

I have known peasants,  tailors, shoeshiners, bricklayers,  and plumbers  who knew more about socialism-communism than many intellectuals. My old friend Isaac Woods  knew more about economic ( or Political Economy )  than many persons holding PHD in economics and he never attended any university. After we insert a real definition in our brain, we are going to find a few places to discuss about socialism, or probably one, or two. We do not need a PHD to understand and know the real concept of socialism, and it was defined more than 100 years ago by revolutionary socialists, they were not reformers of capitalism

 

PS In Argentina Domingo Peron created one of the best State Educational system, and Free Medical system, and he was not a socialist, as well, Rafael L Trujillo did the same thing, Cardenas expropriated all the landowners and gave the lands  to the peasants and he was not a socialists,  and Eugenio Maria de Hostos who was a Puerto Rican pedagogist created the best educational system in several countries in Latin America and he was not a socialist, and his system was so advanced that the US did not allow it to be implemented in the island because it created independent thinker instead of zombies and uncritical students

Marquito. A broad definition (tho not a disingenuous one) would be fine. I can always disagree about it with them, just want ppl with a more immediate exchange of ides than a forum or BB

First, socialism-communism( the same meaning )  is a post-capitalist society ( it is not capitalism within capitalism ) The common possession of the world means of production, administered democratically by the vast majority of the human beings or the workers of the world, a stateless, moneyless, wageless,  leaderless, and free access society. Simple. Each element of its definition must be studied to understand it

I have tried out quite few and they have all had some drawbacks. Either adverts or tracking software or were incompatible with this version of WordPress. I will keep looking for a suitable one.

Thanks. I live in So Cal USA and even with such a high population, I can’t find ppl nearby to discuss it with.
