Recently a work colleague said their partner joined a communist party in the Southern Hemisphere.
The party members had been a grand old age averaging 70+ and the initiation had been done in secret.
The partner then decided to join the Labor Party. Labor left!
I felt palpitations at hearing this… and somewhat demoralised by any hope to keep people for people ethics alive.
Some of you know I am a Christian expounding prosocial ideals.
I have experienced some say I am ‘pale red’ and also ‘non material’
I am concerned. Socialist ideas need to flow in society or it is dominated by propriety ideations.
How do we reinvigorate socialism/ or pro-social (democratic Social) views to our communities?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Exactly. That’s what we are currently organised to do as it easier as a group than as an isolated individual. Here in the islands off the north west coast of the Eurasian land mass we can publish a magazine, pamphlets and leaflets and distribute them, maintain a website, contest elections, etc, all with the above in view.

I can see it will be more difficult where you are in the southern hemisphere but in fact there are a few other socialists in your part of the world.
