The peoples bookshop durham is holding a meeting on thursday 31st may at 6.30pm. title of meeting karl marxs 200th birthday. Venue saddler street durham DH1 3NP. Durham city is full of students could be a good opportunity for the spgb to put the real marx and nothing but the real marx.

I would love to go, but unfortunately I am working in Loughborough the next day, so I have to set off in the afternoon. If others are attending, please pass on my regards and contact details.(I have had the occasional pint of Double Mackem, just was always happier with Exhibition or Fed Special. Anyone remember Tudor's Kipper flavour crisps? A guilty pleasure in the 1970s)
Major McPharter, that will be 2 pkts. of Tudor crisps and 2 pints of Vaux Double Maxim. Me and the wife are going ( crisps for her – beer for me). Have you heard the good news, Major? Heather Mills is reopening the crisp factory at Peterlee.
