Any chance that Admin could remove the Advert that remains the first item we see when entering the most frequented part of the forum.
I am referring to Ponsi in GENERAL DISCUSSION. Ponsi is taking the piss and making us look naive and foolish.

I am referring to Ponsi in GENERAL DISCUSSION. Ponsi is taking the piss and making us look naive and foolish. There are two options: 1. I as moderator remove the post to the Off-topic or Rubbish section. 2. Posters refrain from bumping it up by responding to every little nuance contained in the previous post.Option 1, is out of my remit. Option 2. is down to posters PM'ing the main culprits and requesting them to do the obvious.
April 21, 2017 at 2:45 pm #126749AnonymousInactiveAppreciate the clarification. I thought you were moving posts to off topic and rubbish bin. I owe you a belated apology. My own opinion is that it is obviously an advert by a non member and by someone not interested in the party case. I therefore find it very difficult to believe that it is within your remit to suspend forum/party members but can't remove this 'take-over' of the forum..
April 21, 2017 at 5:14 pm #126750moderator1ParticipantJust because a post gets bumped up by a poster (whose not the original OP) is not a breach of the rules. If on the other hand if it is bumped up by the original poster and it contains the advert Possi will be suspended for breaching the rules.

ALB has already pointed out that Ponsi is doing it himself and is taking advatage
April 21, 2017 at 9:14 pm #126752moderator1ParticipantGranted at one time Pozzi was deliberately bumping his posts to advertise his link. However, the last time he posted on that thread was 11/04/17 and it contained no advert. The thread was then bumped up by Marcos on the 12/04/17.
April 21, 2017 at 9:17 pm #126753moderator1ParticipantReminder: 14. Rule enforcement is the responsibility of the moderators, not of the contributors. If you believe a post or private message violates a rule, report it to the moderators. Do not take it upon yourself to chastise others for perceived violations of the rules.
April 22, 2017 at 12:12 am #126754AnonymousInactiveMy suspicion is that nobody is responsible for bumping up posts but that the thread contains a glitch or bug of some description.
April 22, 2017 at 6:49 am #126755AnonymousInactiveSometimes a thread is dumped because the only way to make correction to a post is by bump it. The software used by the forum is very limited to do editing, but Pozzi is bumping to thrread in order to advertise his website

April 24, 2017 at 5:15 pm #126758AnonymousInactiveYou have to be carefull with all these troll and spammers they can be hackers. This is taking place in this forum because the moderators continue allowing spammers to post in this forum when they do not care anything about socialism. They are just a bunch of right wingers and reactionaries. Our main topic should be about socialism
April 24, 2017 at 11:08 pm #126759moderator1ParticipantModerator Alert: There seems to be a bug on the forum. Admin has been notified.
April 25, 2017 at 1:36 am #126760AnonymousInactiveEverybody should change their password. I think we have a hacker in this forum

Incidentally, a similar problem is occuring on the Twitter thread and possibly elsewhere.
