Boris blurts out the truth

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson told the truth when he said that Saudi Arabia was one of the countries fighting proxy wars in the Middle East. Iran, Turkey and the West being other "puppeteers" manipulating local people to fight wars for them in pursuit of their economic and strategic interests.
But for telling the truth Boris has been slapped down by the Prime Ministers. She's afraid that criticising the Saudi rulers will endanger lucrative arms contracts with them — which they are using in Yemen to directly wage a war. She wants British Ministers to bend over backwards (or is it forwards) to please the backward and corrupt Saudi rulers.
This is not the first time that this sort of thing has happened but it shows once again the hypocrisy of the British ruling class and their agents (and media lackeys) when they express concern about "violating human rights" and "killing civilians" which the Saudi government does just as much as the Syrian government.
Remember Theresa May cosying up with the Saudis in order to sell weapons when they accuse the Labour leadership of supporting terrorists.
It is certainly hypocrisy but for some reason I always get more defensive when people who, for example, support the Russian government mention the hypocrisy of Western states. It always feels as if I have to bring up that they are also just as bad if not worse.Of course, this is not the case when I read articles by the SPGB that criticize the Western governments(sarcasm not intended).
Talking about hypocrisy, I couldn't believe this when I first read it:
