This is a good article on one of the most important occurrences in socialism and republicanism in Ireland. I completely agree that the book "The Lost Revolution: The Story of the Official IRA and the Workers’ Party" is an extraordinarily useful account of the Official Republican movement. There are one or two minor inaccuracies but the only one worth correcting is the statement that Seamus Lynch, from North Belfast, joined Thomás McGiolla and Sean Garland in the 'rump' of The Workers Party' (5th para from the end). To the contrary, Seamus Lynch became the leader of Democratic Left in Northern Ireland and remains active in cross community politics to this day.
