    WORLD SOCIALIST PARTY (NEW ZEALAND) – GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE

    Meeting held via mobile telephone at 51 Weymouth Road, Manurewa and 15 Tanera Crescent, Wellington

     

    DATE:                                    Sunday 5th April 2015.

    CHAIRPERSON:                 C Malins.  Moved C Matene, 2nd T Lovatt.

    OPEN:                                   2:20pm.

    APOLOGIES:                       M Gribble.

     

    PREVIOUS MINUTES/ERRORS & OMISSIONS/MOVE & ACCEPT:

     

    1.       Previous minutes read.  No errors or omissions.  C Matene moved the previous minutes be accepted, 2nd T Lovatt.  Previous minutes accepted.

     

    DISCUSSION ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES:           None.

     

    MOTIONS OF WHICH NOTICE HAS BEEN GIVEN:                 None.

     

    CORRESPONDENCE INWARD & OUTWARD:

     

    2.       Socialist Party of Canada – Newsletter for April received via email.

    3.       Hunter Burke – Received completed online questionnaire from interested person via email.

    4.       Socialist Party of India – Minutes of their March EC meeting and report of their Spring School and Annual Conference received via email.

    5.       SPGB – Email received from Oliver regarding uploading the WSPNZ minutes to the website forum.  Items of a sensitive nature will be removed before uploading.

     

    RATIFICATION OF MEMBERSHIP FORMS:              None.

     

    REPORTS OF SUB-COMMITTEES:                                               None.

     

    TREASURER’S REPORT & ACCOUNTS TO BE PRESENTED:

     

    6.       Treasurer’s report read.  T Lovatt moved the treasurer’s report be accepted, 2nd C Matene.  Treasurer’s report accepted.

     

    LITERATURE SECRETARY’S REPORT:

     

    7.       Subscriptions for Socialist Standards still outstanding.  Contact SPGB to send less journals next time.  Journals can be sent to HQ if Auckland members consider checking out markets for setting up a literature stall.

     

    NEW NOTICES OF MOTION:        None.

     

    GENERAL BUSINESS:

     

    8.       End of daylight savings.  Put clocks back one hour.

     

    NEXT MEETING:                                                Sunday 3rd May 2015.
