EC Minutes No. 152 was read and confirmed on motion of Dipak Bhattacharya and Pradip Singha.

Inward:

– MANIPUR: Regular correspondence with Ch. Premchandra Singh via Facebook and Messenger is going on.

– Sher Singh has sent a copy of May 2015 issue of Faridabad Majdoor Samachar

Outbound: Responses as required to incoming correspondence.

MSC: To receive and file incoming and to endorse outgoing correspondence.

 

Matters Arising:

MSC: That in literatures and documents of our Companion Parties where our party name has to be mentioned the same be written as the WORLD SOCIALIST PARTY (INDIA)

Reports of Executives and Committees

– D. Bhattacharya reported about United Bank of India’s requirements for opening our bank account. B. Sarkar and P. Singha will prepare the bunch of documents and hand over them to D. Bhattacharya next Sunday.

 

Advancement of the Movement:

[G. Paramanik has agreed to send reports about his party activities at Siliguri every month for inclusion in the EC Minutes. He has taken two Membership Application forms for his contacts there.

B,Sarkar, D. Bhattacharya and P. Singha are going on posting and interacting on Facebook timelines of all “friends”. Harisadhan Ghosh is writing letters and articles in Bengali which are being published in various Kolkata based Bengali dailies. Biswarup Chaudhuri is collecting party fund from sympathizers using receipts inscribing our Object and Declaration of Principles overleaf for campaign.]

Sunday Discussion: Every Sunday in the evening we meet to read and discuss Marxian Economics and other selected subjects.

Financial Report:

To open a Savings Bank Account

– Motion: moved by Dipak Bhattacharya and seconded by Biswarup Chaudhury and carried unanimously:

Resolved that a Savings Bank Account be opened forthwith in the name of the WORLD SOCIALIST PARTY (INDIA) at the United Bank of India, Cancer Research Institute (CRI) Branch (Mahatma Gandhi Road, Thakurpukur, Kolkata – 700063) to be operated jointly by the General Secretary and the Treasurer (either or survivor).

Note: Presently elected: 1) General Secretary – Binay Sarkar and 2) Treasure – Pradip Singha
