This is an interesting video. It's part of a series about how capitalism has treated the disposable members of the Japanese population. Ever since the Japanese economy went into a tailspin in 1992 excess workers have been tossed aside like garbage and those remaining in the full-time workforce have been worked harder and harder. Many of these disposable people can only find part-time employment with low pay and no benefits (sound familiar?).
