MINUTES OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING NO. 149

Head Office, Sunday, March 8, 2015: Called to order: 6:45 PM

Membership Application: Marxist Eghaghe Fame (Nigeria) has submitted his Application for Membership along with his answers to the Questionnaire by email.

– WSPNZ GAC Minutes for February 2015

– Sher Singh (Faridabad – Kammunistkranti group) – two copies of their Hindi language monthly, January and February 2015 – a few excerpts in English available at – http://faridabadmajdoorsamachar.blogspot.com/

– A copy of the Proletarian organ of the International communist Party arrived.

– A. S. Pabla intends to correspond with us (ref. Adam Buick)

– Ch. Premchandra Singh (Imphal, Manipur, ref. G. Paramanik) is holding regular correspondence with B. Sarkar via mobile phone conversation and messaging by messenger posting eagerly proposing to organize a WSP (I) branch there and asking for literature and Membership Application Forms. However, they have no access to a pc with printer; so we have to send literature by post.

– Eghaghe Famous (Nigeria) had been in contact since last year. Now he is intending to become a member of the WSP (I). He too has no provision for a pc with printer; so we shall send literature by post to him.

MSC: To receive and file incoming and to endorse outgoing correspondence.

 

Matters Arising:

– A letter is to be sent to A.S. Pabla.

– Eghaghe Famous’s answers to our Questionnaire are full of erroneous views, hence unacceptable. General Secretary has suggested that he should read into our literature in the first place and then come up for submitting his application afresh. He has accepted the suggestion. Reports of Executives and Committees

– During the meeting B. Sarkar talked with Gorachand Paramanik over phone to decide about the fate of his facebook forum “worldsocialist” vis-à-vis the party’s already existing World Socialist Party (India)_Discussion Forum, because it is unnecessary and confusing to run a separate personal forum. G. Paramanik has agreed to close his forum soon.

 

MSC: Agreed that Gorachand Paramanik will take one month to get his forum members transferred to the party forum and then close it.

Advancement of the Movement:

[B,Sarkar, D. Bhattacharya and P. Singha are regularly posting and interacting on facebook timelines of all “friends”. Harisadhan Ghosh is regularly (every week) writing letters and articles in Bengali which are being published in various Kolkata based Bengali dailies.]

[SBI S/B A/C: has been closed by the bank. Rs 2,607.34 are to be realized from the bank via a new Current Account that requires a PAN number. We have again submitted an application for correction. We are yet to get a corrected PAN card]
