Well spotted. A caricature of our position but nice to be noticed.

That is what cartoons do…get too close for comfort….But it does raise the question of majorities and minorities …what are they exactly and how would they be defined?I have had discussions with comrades that argue that 51% is not enough  – it has to be a vast majority. Others have told me that it is not about a numerical majority but effective numbers to begin to  implement socialism which could be as low as 25% of people. I touch on this on my own personal bloghttp://mailstrom.blogspot.com/2011/05/vote-as-weapon.html

Personally, I reckon when we get to 25%, (thats 25% who are class conscious) not just voters, the game will be well and truly afoot. Not at all like 25% who vote for one of the pro Capitalist parties, not knowing what the hell they are voting for!

I think I've heard a majority described as a 'significant majority'.

I thought this had already spotted. I saw it at the time on facebook. I thought it was a funny cartoon – one of many – but I wish the 'SPGBer' didn't look like a cartoon version of Peter Taaffe. That kind of spoiled it for me.

Well, he's bald, without a beard and he's wearing a shirt. Mmm, spitting image. Uncanny.

Maybe on second thoughts closer in resemblance to another occasional resident of NYC and Glasgow branch, comrade Jim Fleming
