July 10, 2013 at 4:02 pm #94267ALBKeymasterThe Party will have a literature stall near this event on Sunday 14 July. It will be near the main entrance to London University at the top end of Gower Street (near Euston stations). This will be from 11 o’clock onwards.

July 14, 2013 at 10:14 pm #94269imposs1904ParticipantHow did this go? I see from Urban 75 and Facebook that numbers at Marxism 2013 are well down on previous years.
July 15, 2013 at 6:20 am #94270ALBKeymasterAccording to the two comrades who went, this was a very quiet event. They set up stall opposite ULU in Malet Street (having worked out that it was not in Gower St, as I mistakenly said above) at about mid-day and stayed for a couple of hours. The only other non-SWP stall was that of the AWL. They estimated only about 200 people went to the meetings in ULU (there may have been others who went to parallel events at the other venue at the Institute of Education). They gave away leaflets, sold a few pamphlets and returned to their car to find they'd acquired a parking ticket (so rather an expensive propaganda exercise). Not like in the olden days. Not sure if it will be worth bothering next year.
July 15, 2013 at 9:40 am #94271jondwhiteParticipantthanks for the report. A stall will be overkill next year if there is another Marxism Festival.there is a report of an incident via urban75, not sure if this is the same alleged assault retweeted by leninology (richard seymour)http://howiescorner.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/the-swp-wont-call-police-over-alleged.htmlthere is also a piece herehttp://bloggingjbloggs1917.wordpress.com/2013/07/13/occupy-marxism/
