What does one do, if one is prevented from following forum etiquette and procedure? What does one do, if one tries to send a pm to the forum moderator and is faced with the following;
admin has chosen to not recieve any more messages from you.Disallowed to send message because all recipients are blockedIs this an invitation to transgress procedure and rule? Is one to just guess why this has been done? There is no way, as can be seen above, to ascertain the reason from the forum moderator, so frustration could, invariably, build up. It is even more frustrating, when one has had no communication from "anyone" as to why. Only left to stumble around in the dark, grasping for conclusions and reasons, which if they are the wrong ones, could lead to further acrimony and ill feeling.Steve.April 24, 2013 at 4:12 pm #93936SocialistPunkParticipantSeems that frustration, disillusionment and ultimately acrimony are being allowed to flourish in a socialist space. There is no need for it to be this way. I have always maintained that the forum be managed with a view to making it reflect socialist values of co operation, openness, democratic participation and accountability. Such an approach would go a long way to encourage solidarity.What I see now, goes against everything I was taught about socialism from the Socialist Standard, Bobby Gleghorn, Steve Colborn and other members of the (now unfortunately non existent) North East branch.I appeal to all socialists to put an end to this anti socialist nonsense and make this site a socialist space for all.

If this fails to bring a satisfactory result the Socialist Party of Great Britain's Internet Department should be contacted using the general contact form (put 'attention internet department' in the subject field). In the last instance the complaint should be made to the Socialist Party of Great Britain's Executive Committee, using the general contact form (put 'attention EC' in the subject field).April 24, 2013 at 4:28 pm #93938steve colbornParticipantI was not commenting on appeals, but on the blocking of contact with the forum moderator, in order that one could not follow guidelines and rules. One is aware that one can contact the ID dept however, in the past I have been accused, by various individuals of wasting the departments limited and valuable time, so even if I had considered this, I would have been reticent to follow through, because of the possibility of further accusations flying.Once again, I will ask, what is one to do when one is prevented from stepping on the first rung of the procedural ladder? Steve.
