Anyone want to join in the discussion at the end here about “Does Britain really prefer socialism to capitalism?”. Apparently they are attracted more by the one word compared with the other, whatever the meaning they attach to both. By “socialism” they seem to understand “social reformism”. In which case it is not surprising that they prefer that to money-grubbing capitalism.
Also of interest is that the words “communism” and “anarchism” finish near the bottom along with “fascism”. Might be a lesson there too.
