    Interesting and something we can use to justify our position of doing this sort of thing when there’s no socialist party candidate standing.

    But I am not sure why Labourites are adopting it. Reformists there seem to have plenty of other parties to choose from.

    SDLP usually go along with the Labourites, the only difference is that SDLP are open on their support of a United Ireland and the Labour party pretend that they don’t support a United Ireland.

    I think it’s just some bitter enders who want Labour to stand candidates in the Six Counties – they argue (down thread) that the Union link, and non-community alignment of Labour means it should stand…
