Nichols, 29, was allegedly violently beaten by the five officers during a traffic stop on 7 January. He died three days later in hospital.
He was beaten by officers like Rodney King

January 27, 2023 at 4:34 pm #239654alanjjohnstoneKeymasterA point to note is that all 5 police officers involved in the beating were african-americans, something to emphasise to BLM that police brutality is State brutality not necessarily racist.

They have been doing the same thing for more than 400 years and they will continue doing the same thing until we replace this society with a new society it does not make any difference if the actions are performed by white, black, asian or latinos policemen or policewomen. The police is part of the capitalist state, and they were not created in order to protect and serve the workers ( or the so called peoples ) , that is only a bourgeois illusion. Racism is a class issue, it has nothing to do with the color of the skin or the ethnic origin. This party is an university on socialism and we have answer for many issues, and this pamphlet address the question of racism:
PS: We do not need a doctorate degree or a guru to understand the problem of racism, the nature of the state, its agencies, and races
Karl Kautsky also wrote a book about the concept of races.January 28, 2023 at 9:07 pm #239711AnonymousInactiveA point to note is that all 5 police officers involved in the beating were african-americans, something to emphasise to BLM that police brutality is State brutality not necessarily racist.

In Haiti the police are also beating up the peoples, and they are African descendants, in the Dominican Republic Haitians are treaty like animals, they have lynching, and more than 90% population is from African descendants,( They are Haitians that speaks Spanish instead of French ) there is a black African capitalist class in South Africa, as well there are African American in the USA who are part of the capitalist class, and some have accumulated more wealth than the European descendants, and many white are poor too. In California the last two mass shooting were performed by Asian descendants. We must go to the real root of our social, political and economical problem. Our problem is capitalism

He was beaten by officers like Rodney King.
The beating wasn’t the undoing of Rodney King, but the compensation he was awarded. He was found stuffed full of drugs at the bottom of his own swimming-pool.
The moral being: it don’t do to give poor people shed loads of dough.February 12, 2023 at 12:07 pm #240247DJPParticipant“police brutality is State brutality not necessarily racist”
So state brutality can’t be racist? In this case, the kind of snatch squads that beat Tyre Nichols to death are only deployed in black neighbourhoods. That is the structurally racist background of this incident.

You forgot to mention that King’s cardiomegaly and focal myocardial fibrosis were contributory factors in his death.

I didn’t mention it because it wasn’t relevant… they were cops, colour doesn’t come into it.
If cop’s break the laws then victims are rightly entitled to compensation. What happens after they get compensation, is irrelevant.February 14, 2023 at 4:03 pm #240359chelmsfordParticipantGoats and monkeys man, I’m on your side!
