A summary of how water boards were privatised

    https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2022/aug/16/i-worked-on-privatisation-england-water-1989-failed-regime

The head of the Centre for Policy Studies, Robert Colvile acknowledges upfront that the “water companies are essentially contractors. They are running the water network on behalf of the state, in a fashion agreed with the state, to targets laid down by the state.”

If rivers are drying up and many peoples can not obtain waters, how is possible that many water bottling company continue having a lot of water to sell to supermarkets and others consumers stores ? Some cities are been over flooded by water, why can’t they treat that large amount of water for personal consumption ? It does not produce profits, what about the water from the ocean, they can remove the salts, but it does not produce too much profits either. Peoples do not understand that they are protecting the profits system that does not provide any benefits to them.
