Don’t these Christian evangelicals realise that satanists are believers in the same mythology as they are, by definition? If you worship satan you believe in such a being, and if you believe in him you also believe in the Christian god and all that goes with that.

The books published by their priests were banned by the Vatican. In Cuba Santeria is more popular than Catholicism. In Miami, Florida Santeria and Voodoo are very popular. In the Caribbean islands tourists from Europe like to see Santeros priests for personal consultations. Blacks slaves were not allowed in the churches of the while peoples and they created their own religion by combining old Africans rituals with catholic leturgy ( Syncretism ) Most of their books were banned by the governments influenced by the Catholic Church. Haitian president Aristide was going to declare Vodoo as the official religion of Haiti and he had problems with the Catholic Church and they supported the coup
In Cuba, Santería flourishes two decades after ban was lifted

There was a famous incident where a Texan boy was kidnapped and sacrificed, bringing in the FBI.

July 5, 2023 at 7:40 pm #245096ALBKeymasterBut what do we think of burning religious books?
Tempting as feeling a bit of Schadenfreude might be at religions getting a bit of their own medicine, of course we can’t really approve of this either.
July 5, 2023 at 8:31 pm #245097AnonymousInactiveThere is a Facebook page run by anarchists advocating for the burning of churches, but the other side says that it is religion intolerance, but they have also asked for the burning of anarchists and, it was crime read Marx , Engels and Lenin. It is a two way street.
The right wing group known as the Proud Boys must pay one million dollars to a christian church because one of their building was burned down by them, but some christian groups have also supported the same hate group
