Census question on “your ethnic group”

Just filled in my Census form online. In line with this Party Conference Resolution for the last Census in 2001:

“For the coming census in 2001 the Party adopt the same policy regarding the question on so-called “race/ethnic origin’ as for the 1991 census, namely that members and others should be urged to answer ‘Other – Member of the Human Race’.”

here’s how I answered:

Q, What is your ethnic group?
A. Other ethnic group
Q. Which one best describes your other ethnic group or background?
A. Any other ethnic group
Q. You selected “Any other ethnic group”. How would you describe your ethnic group or background?
A. Human.

I suppose they have made an attempt not to propagate the unscientific and divisive concept of race, but it’s still their intention to classify you that way.
