I’ve only glanced at it, tbh, but this caught my eye:
“By today’s standards, Martov comes across as something akin to a democratic confederalist, calling for the abolition of the police and standing bureaucracies but seeing direct democracy as a way to rehabilitate the state.”
They can’t even bring themselves to acknowledge that Martov was criticising the Bolsheviks from a Classical Marxian position.

yes, well, entering into the debate is a step too far. then you got to choose which brand of idpollers to support? old line feminists, who don’t want “blokes” in their precious bogs, or 33rd wavers? two genders, both of whom wear trousers and swear, or 233? i believe, we should all follow the wise words of chairman vic: “it’s no socialism”.
Actually, maybe there’s more of a link between Kronstadt and “gender identity” than random comments from Mr KAZ. This is the type of thing that happens in one of the forts these days:

On the subject of anniversaries, It’s 150 years since the Paris Commune this year too. Lots of events happening over the spring. Not sure if travel will be allowed by then though…

“not that funny” for shure. but one would think any attempt at humour would be greatly appreciated, making a break from the self-important pseudo-intellectualism passing into plain bigotry that passes for socialist commentary these days. had an ICCabod at the meeting yesterday. outdid in self-importance and pseudo-intellectualism any SPGBer ever. he needed a visit from a petroleuse.
