Another article published on the Dissident Voice website and another useful name-drop for the WSPUS for a mainly American audience,
Many of those reforms were implemented because there was a coalition of socialists, communists, anarchists, and worker union leader who pushed FDR, and also the government imposed an 85 % taxation on the rich peoples. The coalition was so strong that they had to create McCarthyism to destroy it and several members of the communist party were accused of being soviet spies and then it was proven that it was a complete lie
