He also said that there is a class war and his class is winning that war, and he is right because the working class is supporting capitalism, wars, and its leaders, every time that a capitalist leader is being elected by the working class, it is a defeat for the working class and winning for the capitalist. It is also known as class conciliation
He is not being original in that. It was coined by Joseph Schumpeter in 1942:

To some extent it is true of course as industries rise and fall. The link mentions Marx about this.
That is correct, he is not making any new statement. I was able to see that in some places from 1960 up to now
