When will the texts be available on the web, Dave?

Couldn’t say, Alan, that would be down to the Internet Committee. However, I have access to the final PDF of the first pamphlet and soon will have to the second when the final amendments have been incorporated.

I hope that the one on zionism/anti-semitism will be considerably better than this semi- potboiler that the CWO thinks highly of —

    https://intransigence.org/2018/07/09/zionism-and-marxism/

    — and that it will not contain favorable references to the useless historical-idealists Postone/Frankfurt School.

Hopefully it is written by Stefan or has considerable input from him.

Last but not least, it is to hoped that it is put on line, soon.

Not read that CWO “semi potboiler” but will. No need to worry. It is not based on Postone’s convoluted theory. It’s a reprint of articles from the Socialist Standard from 1918 through 1937, 1946, 1948, 1961, etc to 2007 with an introduction (which has already been published in the September Socialist Standard). It so happens that 2 of the 8 articles were written by Stefan. I don’t know how quickly, given the other problems at the moment on this site that need dealing with, it will be before it is up here but paper copies are available.

The introduction can be found here:

I have now read this and, to be honest, I found it quite interesting on the history of leftwing Jewish nationalism. Ok it makes Lenin out to be less of a supporter of nationalism than in fact he was but that’s another issue.

That pamphlet debunks many of the hundred volumes of books written about Zionism, Semitism and Anti-semitism, and it takes a much better stand that Marx, Engels, and Rosa Luxembourg on the Jewish Question. Like the SPGB/WSM I prefer to use the expression worldly instead of International because socialism-communism is going to be a world social production without the existence of any nation instead of inter-nations. In our times the concept of Fascism is wrongly applied and defined

If I am up to the arduous challenge I will try to make coherent and detailed remarks on both the Walt Auerbach piece in the CWO-allied publication and on the Party’s pamphlet ( which latter I am just starting). In my impatience, a question for Marcos: You said that the Party’s pamphlet ‘takes a much better stand [than] Marx, Engels, and Rosa Luxembourg on the Jewish Question ‘. Please explain: What do you find wrong with their stand? I would like to consider your reply as I read the pamphlet.

I did not say that they were wrong, what I said is that the Socialist Party has taken a more advanced stand due to the fact that we have seen  Zionism in open practice,  and the widely spread of Anti-Semitism around the world, and we said it in 1950, that the creation of the State of Israel would  not provide peace to the Jews, and it would  not be the most safe place for the Jews workers either, and we have not taken the stands of many left wing and Leninists groups, and we have not fallen in the trap of conspiracy theory,  and that Jews , the Zionists, and the  jews bankers control the world, the whole capitalist world is controlled by the market.During their time the belief was that anti-semitism was a feudal conception, and our stand was it was a product of capitalism, and history has proven that we were correct.   It is similar to the Communist Manifesto, the Socialist Party was able to address the mistakes and distortions made on that documents,  and it was actualized, but by the time it was written,  it was a very revolutionary documents drafted by two young persons. In regard to the National Question Rosa Luxembourg took a much better stand that Marx,  and he strongly  supported many bourgoise nationalists revolutions, and those wrong ideas gave ground to Lenin to spread nationalism, national liberalation,  anti-imperialism, and many others nationalists conceptions which are not part of the body of ideas  of socialism-communism

“I eagerly await reading the Pankhurst pamphlet now”

The Pankhurst pamphlet is almost ready to be published and will be closely followed by two more pamphlets on ‘Banking’ and ‘Rosa Luxemburg’.

Forgot to mention we’re also reprinting ‘What’s Wrong With Using Parliament?’
