On the night of July 9, 1969, a 40-minute dialogue, via telephone, between Boston, Mass., and radio station C.K.D.A. in Victoria, B.C., was broadcast to some 250,000 listeners throughout western Canada and the United States. H. Morrison of the World Socialist Party (U. S.) carried the ball for the Companion Parties of World Socialism from the Boston end, answering the queries of the interviewer, George Jones.
At the Victoria end, S. P. of Canada members L. Tickner, G. Jenkins and J. Lambie carried on for the balance of the program (total time, 3 hours).
It was a great night for socialism!
